Medication is commonly known by anti-histamine tablets, nasal sprays, and eye drops purchased off the shelves within many local supermarkets.  Those who are affected severely find none of these methods effective in relieving their symptoms and suffer in silence.  Help has now arrived, many do not realise that you can have administered a hay fever vaccination to help you through the entire season – depending upon the severity of your allergy normally 1 – 2 vaccines will be sufficient, however, in the most extreme of circumstances this can be re-assessed.

An allergic reaction is in the form of sudden onset of itching, hives, red rash, sneezing, swelling, and inflammation causing restrictions from either something you have touched or ingested which your body is reacting towards. In the event of severe reaction causing swelling to mouth and throat, the restricting of airways can cause panic, stay calm, raise the alarm, and ask for help to DIAL 999 immediately, advising the operator of what has happened – time matters when an airway is restricted and can be life threatening.  If you are not sure of what you have experienced a reaction towards, we can provide allergy screening to find the root cause of the reaction, so as you will be mindful for it not to happen again.
